Aloha and Hafa Adai. My name is Soon-Ja. Born and raised on the island of Guam. Earned undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Experienced in caring for special needs clients, postpartum care, pediatrics, acute inpatient psychiatry (severe mental illness), PTSD / trauma, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, blended families, diverse cultural / ethnic groups, addiction / recovery, sex industry workers, LGBTQIA communities, and treating active duty, veterans, first responders and their families.

Ironman 140.6-mile finisher; completed marathon on Mount Everest in 2017; swam for Team Guam in the South Pacific Games in Papeete Tahiti, Invitational Swim Meet in Darwin Australia, and annual invitational swim meets at Kamehameha Schools on Oahu.
Hobbies include water sports, traveling, live music, and spending time with my energetic Bernedoodle, Pua.
